About us

An independent brokerage with a very short client list per advisor.

USA Health Savings helps people who do not have an employer plan find private PPO coverage — and tells them when they should not buy it.

What we actually do

Most people who land here have the same problem: no employer plan, an income that does not fit neatly into subsidy math, and a calendar that does not care that open enrollment ended in January. The ACA Marketplace is a genuinely good deal for households that qualify for a meaningful subsidy. For everyone else, an unsubsidized bronze plan with a $7,000 deductible is an expensive way to stay uninsured in practice.

USA Health Savings is a privately operated, independent insurance brokerage. We are licensed to work with medically underwritten private PPO plans from nationally recognized carriers — plans that can be applied for any day of the year, typically use broad national networks rather than narrow local HMOs, and are priced on health history rather than on a community rate.

That last part is the honest catch. Underwriting means not everyone gets the same terms, and some conditions are excluded or subject to a waiting period. Finding that out takes a licensed person reading a specific plan against your specific situation. That is the entire service.

How we get paid

Nothing on this site costs you anything, and the price of a plan is the same whether you buy it through an advisor or directly from the carrier. When someone enrolls, the carrier pays the brokerage a commission. That is the whole model, and it is worth knowing because it tells you where the pressure would come from if we applied any.

It also explains the rule we hold ourselves to: an advisor who tells you to take the subsidy instead earns nothing from that call. We consider that a cost of doing the job properly.

What we are not

We are not a government agency. We are not the Health Insurance Marketplace, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by it, by Medicare, by Medicaid, or by any government program. We are not an insurance carrier — carriers underwrite, approve and pay claims; we help you choose between them.

Nothing on this site selects, binds, or approves coverage. Submitting the form starts a conversation with a licensed advisor. It does not generate a rate, an offer of coverage, or a determination of eligibility.

What working with us is like

One conversation, on your schedule.

  • One advisor calls once

The person who reads your answers is the person who calls. Nobody else gets your number.

  • Any day of the year

Private PPO plans can be applied for outside open enrollment, so the review happens when you need it.

  • Health history, handled plainly

Pre-existing conditions are asked about as one yes or no, then talked through honestly on the call.

  • Your details stay put

Never sold, never resold, never passed to a pool of agents competing to reach you first.

Member stories

The call usually ends with a clearer decision.

  • The advisor told me my wife's subsidy made the Marketplace cheaper for her, and put me on a private plan by myself. Two plans, less money.

    Marcus T., Ohio
  • I lost coverage in March. Open enrollment was eight months away. That was the whole problem, and it took one call to solve.

    Priya R., Texas
  • I asked about a condition I assumed would disqualify me. It didn't. What I needed was someone to actually read the exclusions with me.

    Linda M., Arizona
  • He walked me through what the plan does not cover before he told me what it does. That is the part I did not expect.

    David K., Georgia
  • I drive through six states in a week. A local HMO was never going to work and nobody had said that out loud before.

    Ray S., Tennessee
  • One call, one follow-up email, then nothing until I answered. After the year I'd had with lead sites, that was the selling point.

    Jessica L., Colorado
  • We were nine months out from Medicare and the COBRA number was absurd. The gap plan cost less than half.

    Tom H., Florida
  • My income is different every month. She built the comparison around that instead of asking me to guess a number.

    Carlos G., Nevada
  • I expected a sales pitch. I got a spreadsheet and a straight answer about the deductible.

    Ashley B., North Carolina
  • They told me my daughter qualified for CHIP and that we should take it. It cost them the bigger sale.

    Megan W., Michigan
  • The specialist I already see is out of state. That was the first question he asked, before anything about price.

    Robert D., Pennsylvania
  • Applying in June instead of waiting until January was the entire answer. I just did not know that was possible.

    Jason P., Missouri
